Welcome to the Arlington High School Scheduling Website, a site designed to guide you through choosing courses for the next academic year. We will work with you as a team in the coming weeks and months to help create a schedule for you (or your student) to best challenge and support you in your continuing educational journey. This site will be updated regularly with new information, dates, and processes.

An email will be sent to initiate the registration process. Grade 9, 10, & 11 students will log into PowerSchool to select courses, with time for parents/caregivers to review and adjust choices. Counselors will then meet with students to finalize selections. Final schedules will be available in late August.

January 28 - February 9:
Teachers will discuss course options with their classes for the 2026-2027 school year.
Students will download and complete the Course Selection Worksheet 2026-2027.
Students will select courses in PowerSchool and review their choices with parents/caregivers.
February 24 - March 13:
Students will meet with their school counselor to finalize course selections.
Teachers will bring students to the counseling office based on a scheduled rotation (schedule to be shared soon).
More details will be provided as we approach registration. If you have any questions, please reach out to your school counselor.
Class of 2030 (Current Gr 8 Students)
If you currently attend Ottoson Middle School, please use PowerSchool to select your courses once you receive an email with directions in January.
January 12 - Prospective student night for parents, caregivers etc. 6:00 pm AHS auditorium
January 28 - Presentation to 8th graders on course selection worksheet and Course selection.
Window to choose courses opens.
IF YOU ARE NEW (or RETURNING FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL) TO ARLINGTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS, PLEASE CHECK THE REGISTRATION WEBSITE TO FIND WHEN THE WINDOW TO REGISTER WILL BE OPEN. Please link to the transfer page for additional information. You may use the paper request forms listed on the transfer page after March 1 (they reflect the same courses as the online process).
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT COURSE PLACEMENT IS NOT BASED ON WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE COURSE REQUESTS. THE COMPUTER DOES NOT USE THE ORDER REQUESTS ARE SUBMITTED IN DETERMINING CLASS PLACEMENT. ALSO, THERE ARE ENOUGH SEATS IN ALL CORE CLASSES FOR STUDENTS TO BE PLACED IN THEIR REQUESTED COURSES.
Freshmen Athletic Night will be held on May 21, 2026, at 6:00 pm in the Auditorium
