Course Selection Guide
Welcome to the Arlington High School Scheduling Website. This site has been designed to guide you through the process of choosing courses for the next academic year. We will work with you as a team in the coming weeks and months to help create a schedule for you (or your student) to best challenge and support you as you continue (or begin) your journey through high school .
Please select the menu next to the title above (left hand corner) to find the documents you will need.
The portals are now closed. During March, students from the class of 2022, 2021, 2020 will meet with their guidance counselors to review and finalize their requests. If you did not enter your requests, we highly recommend that you prepare for this meeting by bringing in your course selections.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO ARLINGTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS, PLEASE CHECK THE DISTRICT WEBSITE TO FIND WHEN THE WINDOW TO REGISTER WILL BE OPEN.. Please link to the transfer page for additional information. If you are not registered prior to the portal closing (March 1), you may use the paper request forms listed above (they reflect the same courses as the online process).
I WANT TO EMPHASIZE THAT COURSE PLACEMENT IS NOT BASED UPON WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE COURSE REQUESTS. THE COMPUTER DOES NOT USE THE ORDER IT RECEIVES THE REQUESTS IN DETERMINING CLASS PLACEMENT. ALSO, THERE ARE ENOUGH SEATS IN ALL CORE CLASSES FOR STUDENTS TO BE PLACED IN THEIR REQUESTED COURSES.
To receive up to the minute updates and important information, please subscribe to AHS news and our parent notices on our main website.
Also, please be sure to check our Important Dates page for upcoming events.
These links will connect you to Powerschool, giving you access to your student's grades, attendance, and up to the minute information. Please be sure that the demographics are accurate.
The following powerpoint was presented to 8th grade parents earlier in the year to give insight into the Arlington High School Community and Academics.
