10. Superintendent’s Report – Ms. Thomas

a) The Board is invited to join our New Teacher Orientation luncheon on July 27th at noon in the Goza Cafeteria.

b) The Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce along with Patterson Federal Credit Union will be hosting a Meet and Greet to introduce me as the new Superintendent on July 28th from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. in the Goza Cafeteria. I look forward to seeing new faces and old friends.

c) Patterson Federal Credit Union will host our Back to School Breakfast on August 12th at 7:30 a.m. at Henderson State University's Garrison Center. The Board is invited to join us.

d) Back to School professional development will begin on August 10th; Open House will be on August 11th from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. on all campuses; First day of school is August 17th.

e) USDA meal waivers expire at the end of this summer; Free, Reduced, and Paid lunches will go back into effect when school resumes in August. We will communicate this to parents to give them time to plan for that upcoming expense.
