Spanish 101 is designed as an introduction to Spanish as an additional language and the many facets of Hispanic culture. This course begins to develop all four core language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The course highly recommends classroom participation and requires approximately two hours of preparation outside of class for every hour of class instruction.
