A few gentle reminders as you connect with your Academic Advisor:
Always check your Advisors Trellis calendar! Their availability may vary, so it’s important that you see the most updated options.
If you know you can’t make an appointment, do your best to cancel it as soon as possible in Trellis Advise. It not only opens an appointment slot for your peers who may need it, but it also protects your Advisor’s time, as they spend a great deal of time and energy preparing for appointments.
If you don’t see availability on your Advisor’s calendar, don’t panic! Advisors generally set their availability two weeks in advance, so seeing blanks on their calendars doesn’t mean they won’t have more availability soon. Keep checking back!
Email response time is not immediate. It can take up to 48 business hours for your Advisor to put together a thoughtful response to your email, so you may not hear from them right away.
