Q: Is there a cost for attending sessions?
Most sessions are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis by registering in Chalkable. Occasionally a session may be restricted to a particular audience or require a registration fee. If so, this is typically noted in the PowerSchool session description.
Q: May I attend a session in a region other than my own?
While public school teachers within a center's region will receive priority, a teacher from outside a region may also participate if it is not otherwise restricted and seating is available. Some centers allow open enrollment in PowerSchool while others require those outside their region to contact the center providing the session. Please call the sponsoring center for more information about a particular session.
Q: How can I see what's offered by ARIC or my regional center?
Most centers will post their upcoming professional learning opportunities on their website. You can also search for sessions within PowerSchool itself. Additionally, you may contact a particular center for more information. Visit center web pages by clicking on the associated university buttons available on our home page.
Q: How do I receive credit for attending a session?
Credit will be automatically provided in PowerSchool by the sponsoring center upon successful completion of a session for which you are registered. Please contact the sponsoring center for questions concerning credit for sessions you have attended.
