Greetings and Hello! 😁 📚 👨‍🏫 

I have been teaching since 2011 and came to Argyle High School in 2020.  Before joining AHS, I taught and coached in Lewisville ISD at DeLay Middle School and Lewisville High School Harmon Campus.  I have taught Texas History, World History, U.S. History, and elective classes on World War II and the Post-World War II era.  Most notably, in 2025, I was named AHS's Teacher of the Year and AISD's Secondary Teacher of the Year. 🏆

I have always been passionate about History and teaching students.  It's my sincere hope that my students always enjoy being in class, learn new things, and like History more than when they first entered my room!  Also, my goal is to provide you with a realistic college classroom experience and give you skills to use as you move on through your educational career! 📚📓✏️

My favorite time periods to teach are the Civil War and the Cold War, and some of my favorite people from history include John Hancock, Ulysses S. Grant, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, and countless others! 

I reside in Argyle with my wife, our two children, and two dogs.  I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and came to Texas when I started 7th Grade.  I am also an Army veteran and was deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003 to 2004. 🇺🇸
