How to Become a Volunteer

Argyle ISD is pleased to provide an online volunteer application and background check for anyone wishing to volunteer in AISD schools. The online application is quick and easy and will help us to ensure the safety of our students. We value the support and assistance we receive from our dedicated school volunteers. Our safety and background check requirements are not intended to hinder volunteers from helping in Argyle ISD, but to reassure parents and staff that Argyle ISD has been diligent in screening volunteers for work with or around students. We encourage everyone who wants to volunteer for AISD in any capacity, to apply online and have a background check completed. This way, you'll be ready to go should an opportunity come up and you want to volunteer. All volunteers are required to complete a new background check each year.

Once approved, you'll be added to the AISD List of Approved Volunteers which is shared with our campuses. If for some reason you are denied or there is an issue found during your background check, you will receive a confidential notification from a District Representative.

Please allow up to 2 weeks of processing time.

IMPORTANT: You will need to fill out only one (1) application…not one for each child. If you have more than one child and they are at different campuses, please choose MULTI CAMPUS (under the “M’s”).
