AUGUST
Tues. 11 - First Day of School!
Thurs. 13 - Band parent meeting in AMS Band hall @ 6:30pm, HW, SB, BB families
Fri. 21 - Band Registration/fees due and HW sectional conflict forms due
Mon. 17 - Begin sectionals with HW
Thurs. 20 - Uniform fitting day with Mr. Branch, SB and HW
Tues. 25 - fundraiser kick-off, BB, SB, HW
Fri. 28 - All-Region masterclass, 4:00-6:00pm
SEPTEMBER
Wed. 9 - Ms. Mallow clinic day during class, all bands
Fri. 18 - Medieval Times 8th grade only with Gibson MS Band 8th graders
Tues. 22 - Pep Rally SB and HW during school / HW and SB play at 8th grade FOOTBALL GAMES at our stadium, 5:30-7:30pm
OCTOBER
Fri. 2 - All-Region masterclass/mock audition 4- 6pm, AND MOVIE NIGHT @ GMS 7-8:30, evening (HW and any SB learning music)
Wed. 7 - Ms. Mallow clinic day during class, all bands
Fri. 9 - Tentative 8th grade band night at Argyle HS
Wed. 21 - All-Region auditions night #1 at Briarhill MS -Oboe, Bass Clar., Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Euphonium, Tuba, and Percussion phase 1(HW and any SB learning music)
Sat. 24 - All-Region auditions day #2 at McKamy MS -Flute, Clarinet, Alto Sax, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, and Percussion phase 2
Tues. 27 - BEGINNER BAND WORLD PREMIERE Concert, 6pm / FALL CONCERT HW, SB, JB, 7:00pm (auditorium or gym)
NOVEMBER
Wed. 11 - Tentative Veteran’s Day ceremony during school (HW performance)
Tues. 17 - Beginner Recital Day during all 6th grade band classes - parents come watch after completing background check, BB
Mon. 30 - Ms. Mallow clinic day during class, all bands
DECEMBER
Week of 7th - Band caroling before school near front entrance (beginners and bands)
Fri. 11 - Tentative “Elementary Tour” (HW only)
Sat. 12 - All-Region clinic/concert (for those who made the band)
Tues. 15 - WINTER CONCERT for all bands, AMS auditorium
JANUARY
Sat. 23 - UIL masterclass for SB and HW
Fri. 29 - Tentative 8th grade side by side rehearsal with Argyle HS band members
FEBRUARY
Feb 4. - Night of Jazz concert with AHS & GMS jazz bands
Tues. 16 TENTATIVE Pre-UIL @ AMS auditorium, SB

3 or 4 Non-Varsity (Symphonic Band) UIL at Argyle HS, tbd
