Tech 6: Outline

Students will recognize the 1/16 scale for inches and be able to measure and read measurements accurately using rulers or tape measures

Students will learn what a scale drawing is and how to create one

Online lesson plan example

• Have students create scale drawings of the gym, measuring the space and replicating it on a sheet.

• We might also have students measure spaces in non-traditional means (using bananas, shoes, or whatever)
