Good afternoon! We’re so proud of the marching band and how they performed/acted in the stands at Guntersville on Friday night! We’ve received so many compliments on our performance, and it makes us proud to hear people say this about the band! Every student should be proud of their performance, and I hope this motivates you to keep improving. Reminder: attendance is mandatory for rehearsals and games!!! Please check our schedule this week, as Tuesday is a little different. HS marchers are encouraged to attend the AJHS game on Tuesday. We need band shirts for the AJHS game.

Band fees are PAST DUE!!! They were due by the first football game (08/21). To pay fees, students may deposit them in the drop box in Mr. Dailey’s office, or contact our Booster Treasurers via email (bandfinance@arabcityschools.org) to make payment arrangements. Students also get $10 credit, per game, towards their student accounts for helping clean the stadium after all home games. We will not leave until the stadium is clean this week. Finally, we’ll be in full uniform for the Ardmore game! Please be sure to have LONG BLACK SOCKS and Dinkles this Friday night.

Ardmore Game (Senior Night)

Friday, August 28th, will be our first HOME football game; it is also Senior Night! Call time is 4:30 pm at the HS bandroom. Senior parents will need to line up at the South end zone around 6:15 for the senior ceremonies at 6:30. A diagram of the field with directions on how to get on and off the field for senior recognition was sent out via email and on the Band app. Students will need money to purchase meals at our concession stand before the game. Also, we will wear full uniforms for musicians and auxiliary; this includes the band shirt, shorts, and long black socks for musicians.

Albertville Game

Our second away game is on Friday, September 4th, at Albertville High School. Call time for band members is 4:30 pm in the HS Bandroom. We will try to set up a meal before the game so students don’t have to purchase from the concession stand. We will again be in full uniform, so students will also need LONG BLACK SOCKS to wear with their band shoes.

Our September Booster meeting will be on Tuesday, September 22nd, at 7:00 p.m. in the HS band room. Reminder that all parents are boosters, and we encourage everyone to attend! This is the best way to stay connected with the upcoming season and band information.

On Thursday, August 20th, the band will debut our 2026 halftime show, To the Moon, for our community. The performance is at the Sportsplex (New Stadium), starting at 7 pm. The band will rehearse from 6-7 pm, and the community will be able to enter the stadium starting at 6:45 pm. This is a free performance for our community.

Student Shirt Order

THIS FORM IS ONLY FOR MUSICIANS/DRUM MAJOR!!! Auxiliaries already have their pep uniform. Please fill out the form with the member shirt size. Please order up if you're afraid the student will grow quickly. Members will get a uniform shirt, and we're working on getting shorts as well.
