Birthdays

Birthday Policy:

• If students pass out invitations at school, every student in the class should be invited.  If all children are not invited, please distributed the invitations OFF school property.

• We will celebrate students´ birthdays in class, either on the birthday or on a mutually agreed date. Students' will be given a crown and a birthday card from their classmates. We will celebrate the day with fun activities and LOTs of love.

• Candy or any type of food are not permitted. We also ask that no party favours or small gifts be distributed at school.  Please consider donating a book for the library or a game that we can play during indoor recess. 

• In 3rd grade we learn that it is ok to not be invited to a party or play date. At the same time, we begin to develop empathy to understand and to respect other people´s feelings. Please be considerate during gym pick ups.
