Design:
This research team has studied thriving from a variety of vantage points over the last decade: undergraduate students, first-year students, sophomores, students of color, graduate students, and even faculty. The team will continue this line of inquiry for 2022-23, with a focus on a longitudinal study of the pathways to thriving among various types of students.
Potential Products:
Proposal submitted by mid-April, 2023 for the November 16-18 ASHE Conference in Minneapolis, which will then become a paper to submit to a journal
Presentation at a national conference, if the team so chooses

Conducting structural equation modeling
Writing a Literature Review section of a journal article
Writing the Discussion section of a journal article
Preparing PowerPoint presentations and presenting the study at a national conference
Writing concise proposals for conference presentations
Team Meeting and Travel Expectations:
The team will meet one evening during each APU intensive session and will have monthly conference calls.
If COVID allows, we will plan on a team retreat in Spring 2023 at a location to be agreed upon.
Those who contribute to the 2023 ASHE proposal are expected to be part of the presentation at the ASHE conference in Minneapolis November 16-18, 2023.
