Glean - Notetaking

ADR has transitioned from peer notetakers to the transcription application Glean which is a speech to text transcription application. It can generate rich notes for meetings, interviews, lectures, and other important voice conversations.

To request the use of Glean for note taking, please submit the Glean Request Form. Please email disabilityservices@apu.edu and an ADR staff member would be happy to meet with you for one-on-one assistance!

If you have been approved for note taking services and feel that Otter will not meet your needs, please send an email to disabilityservices@apu.edu.

Kurzweil

Kurzweil is a unique text-to-speech software which can read PDF textbooks and documents aloud with over 30 different voices. You can use Kurzweil to make notes and highlights on your textbooks or use it as a screenreader with a Read The Web Google Chrome extension. If you are approved to use Kurzweil and do not have access to an account yet, please submit the Kurzweil Request Form. You will receive a follow up email from disabilityservices@apu.edu with a link to create your account.
