Course Planning Document -

Some individuals like to plan out their four years of courses,  and the document to the left provides a generalized map for the courses students will take in relation to IB from the 9th grade through to the 12th grade.  This graphic is not intended to be a finalized plan, but a reflection of options.  As IB continues to evolve at Firestone, we will add and remove courses as they become available.

Also, as student are able to be/enroll in multiple programs and electives, we do our best to accomodate schedule requests.  Some of our IB students are in Engineering - Robotics or Mechatronics, Design - Architecture or Visual Arts, or Akron School for the Arts - Dance, Theater, Vocal Performance, Instrumental Performance, and we do all we can to ensure the students can take either the IB electives suited for these programs or have space in their schedule to accomodate the academy course.  If you have any questions about the schedule, please contact the IB Coordinator or a counselor.
