One of the core elements of the IB Program is the course Theory of Knowledge. This course, an examination of how students answer the question, "How do we know?", requires student to complete an internal assessment called The Exhibition - students identify three objects that support their response to various knowledge questions. Students in the class of 2023 created posters to share their responses and their objects.
Another core element of the program is the Extended Essay, a extensive research project that results in an impressive essay (maximum word count is 4,000 words). Students select a research question of their own and pursue resources to help them provide a response to the question. Again, students created posters to share their work and their findings. Both the Exhibition and the Extended Essays are shared with the community in the IB Forum which occurs in either the fall or the spring.
