How do I get started?
Directions: All APS students will use Google Classroom to get their activities, lessons, and assignments from their teachers. Google Classroom is similar to your real classroom. Each teacher has a 'space' for you to join them for learning. It is important to carefully read directions when you learn online. Watch each short video below to get started so that you are able to connect and learn.
Be sure you have joined each of your teacher's classrooms.

How do I contact my teachers?
Directions: Your teachers will let you know when they have virtual office hours (times to connect online with you). Teachers may use Google Hangouts Meet, an online video tool, or email, or other communication tools to accomplish this. Check with your teacher for their individual links to join their live sessions posted in the Google Classroom or to find out how they will communicate with you. Watch each video below to get you started on how to use APS Gmail and Google Hangouts Meet. Online learning tip! It is important to check your APS email every day.
Note: Students do NOT have the ability to start a Meet, stream, or record. All spoken words are transcribed and stored to the APS Google Vault. No video is stored.

- Your first step to getting help is through your teacher or counselor using your email or Google Classroom.
- If you continue to have questions you are unable to resolve, submit a Help Desk Form. When completing the form, include as much detail about your problem or question as you can and provide a method to contact you.
Note: If you are unable to get online, calling school phone numbers will direct you to the Student Engagement Center. Someone at the Engagement Center can submit the form for you.
