The Personal Project is assessed using three objectives.  

Keep in mind...

1.   You need to choose a topic to research that will help you to achieve a goal by creating a product. 

2. Choosing a global context exploration will help you to focus your project.

3. You need to record all your thoughts, reflections, processes, planning, decisions, communications and more in a process journal.  This journal will provide you with the content to write your report at the end of the project. It must be comprehensive and annotated.

4. You will create a product or outcome that best achieves your goal

5. You will submit a report meeting the assessment criteria ( see rubric)

Personal Project Objectives

Objective A: Planning

• Set a personal learning goal  and select a global context for your project and explain how your interests inspired that goal and connects to the global context.

• Decide on what you want to create (your product) and come up with clear success criteria to measure your progress.

• Make a detailed plan to reach your goal and make sure your product meets the success criteria you set.

Objective B: Applying Skills

• Describe how you used your ATL skills to help achieve your learning goal.

• Explain how you applied those ATL skills to create your product and bring your ideas to life.

Objective C: Reflecting

• Reflect on how the project impacted you or changed your approach to learning.

• Look back at your product and evaluate it using the success criteria you set earlier.
