Registration for AVA (Atlanta Virtual Academy) Part Time session Fall 2026
Registration window is July 27th-August 28.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter is hosting a college and career fair on Saturday, September 26th at Maynard Jackson High School. The target audience is 12th and 11th graders but 9th and 10th are welcome.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter host youth leadership academies for high school boys (EMBODI) and girls (GEMS). Sessions are once monthly at Bunche Middle School. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

GA Power will be visiting Midtown on Wednesday, September 2nd @ 9:30am in the Multipurpose room. They are interested in meeting with seniors and will be discussing skilled trades roles such as Linework, Cable Splicer, Duct-line Mechanic, etc.

If you have families who may be interested in joining the AVA community this fall, please share the link below to our website. Space is limited and the application closes on May 1st so encourage families not to delay. We are offering information sessions for parents to learn more about our program. If they are unable to attend, a recorded session is also available on our website to help them determine if AVA is the right fit for their student.

What is AVA?
Atlanta Virtual Academy (AVA) is a fully accredited, online learning environment within Atlanta Public Schools (APS) that provides flexible, full-time and part-time education for K-12 students. AVA offers original credit, credit recovery, and advanced courses with support from certified teachers.
Key Details About AVA in APS:
Programs: Offers both direct and flex programming to meet student needs, allowing students to learn at their own pace anytime, anywhere.
Scope: Serves elementary, middle, and high school students, with options for credit recovery and initial credit.
Support: Features a Live Virtual Learning Center where students can access support from certified teachers.
