The DeKalb County Office of Youth Services is now enrolling students in University Bridges, a powerful program that helps seniors take confident next steps toward college and post-secondary success. Participants will receive one-on-one expert support from proven leaders in equity, access, and student success across Metro Atlanta, including guidance on college enrollment, FAFSA navigation, scholarship applications, and college tours.
We currently have 23 slots available, and orientation begins on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Please share this opportunity directly with high school seniors, families, school contacts, youth-serving organizations, and community partners in your network today. Encourage interested students to complete the registration form as soon as possible so they don't miss this opportunity.
Atlanta CASA is currently accepting interest for our October 2026 Junior CASA Academy, designed for high school students ages 16 to 19 who are interested in leadership, youth advocacy, community service, and learning more about the child welfare system.

LEDA (Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America) is an organization that identifies high-achieving, low-income high school juniors with a 3.5+ GPA who are eager to be academically challenged. LEDA Scholars receive SAT preparation and guidance throughout the college application process.
LEDA offers a free summer institute at Princeton and Yale that brings together first-generation college students to develop leadership skills, prepare for the SAT, connect with college professors, and experience life on a college campus. Students leave the program with a lifelong community, valuable resources, and ongoing support. Guidance continues throughout each scholar’s college experience to help them successfully navigate college and graduate.
This allows us to correspond directly with scholarship, community service, college tours, and other important information.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter is hosting a college and career fair on Saturday, September 26th at Maynard Jackson High School. The target audience is 12th and 11th graders but 9th and 10th are welcome.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter host youth leadership academies for high school boys (EMBODI) and girls (GEMS). Sessions are once monthly at Bunche Middle School. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) Scholarship
The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) scholarship is for motivated high school students who want to experience a culture and learn a language through a full immersion experience. Learn about German culture first-hand by living with a host family and attending a German high school. Embark on an adventure that is unlike any other. The CBYX program additionally offers vocational and young professional scholarship opportunities; visit the Programs page to learn more.
The CBYX high school program is currently accepting applications for the 2027-28 program in the CIEE region. To begin an application, or log in to an existing application, please click here.
