Mr. De'Andre Jones is a native of Oklahoma. At an early age Mr. Jones was inspired and encouraged musically by his father, grandmother and a host of family and friends including the late Glenn E. Burleigh (composer of the hit Gospel song "Order My Steps")
Mr. Jones attended Langston University, Fisk University and Georgia College and State University.
At Fisk, Mr. Jones performed with the world-renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers. As a Jubilee Singer Mr. Jones has performed and recorded in various prestigious venues in the United States. He holds memberships in The American Guild of Organist (Atlanta Chapter), Georgia Music Educators Association and Phi Mu Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Mr. Jones is a pianist, conductor, organist, educator and vocalist. Mr. Jones has performed and conducted choirs in Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Austria, UK and the United States.
In addition to teaching and performing Mr. Jones is also a musical consultant. Last summer Mr. Jones was contracted as the Musical Director, consultant and researcher for the 1619 -2019, 400- year Journey from Jamestown. Which documented the first landing of documented Africans landing on American soil held at the National Archives.
Mr. Jones loves cooking, listening to Sirius XM radio Urban View and spending time with his family and friends.
