Most instruction will come from what we do in class on a daily basis. There will also be projects assigned where I will be available to assist students. We will be using many resources throughout this year. Your child's organization system will be enough for them, but I will also guide them to become more organized as a student. I plan on having organization-based tutorials to help students who struggle with keeping up with their work.
This will be on Schoology. Please check it frequently for all of your courses.
My dedicated day is on Mondays from 3:45 - 4:30 pm. Mornings by appointment.
Just show up to room C414 at 3:45 for any assistance you may need or in the morning by appointment.
You should check Schoology often for updates of new assignments. This will be my primary platform for all students. I will not be using Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom.
Yes, we can mark assignments as being late or missing in Infinite Campus. This is also to remind students of how that missing work impacts their grade. Please check Infinite Campus regularly to monitor your grades.
All assignments will be a provided an acceptable time frame for completion. Missing assignments will register as a 50 per APS policy. However, you may turn that assignment in for possible full credit if completed properly.
Please check the syllabus as it has a clear description of hard deadlines.
Attendance will be recorded in Infinite Campus daily. Strong attendance is the first step in becoming a strong student.

If you are absent, your should check Schoology for the classes you missed find out what content was covered that day. After three absences, I will contact your family to make sure everything is okay with you. Attendance problems are one of the biggest reasons why students struggle. If you're not at school, you're missing the content in your classes and will most likely fall behind.
Do not hesitate to inform me or contact your assigned counselor to receive assistance. All reports are confidential and they will assist you. There is nothing wrong or weak about feeling this way. Please reach out for help to people you trust.
