The Mission of Arlington Bands

The mission of Arlington Public Schools Bands is to encourage student musicianship, teamwork, appreciation, and community through their participation in instrumental music. Students will be exposed to music of varying styles, cultures and genres and their uses in culture and society to develop students who will have a lifelong love and understanding of music. Students will be part of a visible and exciting part of the Arlington Community to promote school pride and the importance of music.
