Welcome to the Arlington Band Program! Over the first couple of weeks we will get organized and set up. If you have not rented an instrument yet please contact Dietze Music or Schmitt Music to find out about their renting programs. They both have great rent to own programs that are very parent friendly. If you plan on purchasing an used or new instrument please have Mrs. Mastny check it first or take it to a reputable store (Dietze Music or Schmitt music) to have a music repair technician look over the instrument. While used instruments can be a great deal sometimes they end up costing more money in repairs. Some new instruments are not easily repairable always be cautious of buying the cheapest because you may get what you paid for.

All Elementary Band members need the following supplies along with instrument:

Textbook: Sound Innovations Book 1

Preferred Reed Brands: Rico Royal or Vandoren ( strength 2.5)

Various oils or cleaning supplies
