Each year, staff participate in instructional professional development through the development of Student Learning Objectives (SLO). These goals are designed to target student instruction by analyzing assessment results and classroom data. The purpose of SLOs is to encourage educators to be intentional and reflective about their instructional practices while closely monitoring the progress of a select group of students. This process not only supports improved student outcomes but also strengthens teachers’ ability to implement effective teaching strategies.
