INSTRUCTIONS FOR 9/10:

I am sorry I can't be there today. Please follow these instructions in the order I have listed them and be on your BEST behavior. 

• REQUIRED: Complete the homework for lesson 19. We discussed how to use a unit rate to convert units yesterday. If you need help completing the problems, please watch the video I have posted under the "skill practice" button below. While your answers may not be 100% correct, you should have the work done in the book and the form submitted by the end of class today. 

• Complete all homework from lessons 17 and 18 as well. If you have questions, please ask me tomorrow when I return. 

• Practice fluency by going to the purple fluency button below, then clicking on "that quiz practice". The timer is set for 5 minutes. WITHOUT USING A CALCULATOR, you should be able to complete at least 5 problems. Your fluency quiz is tomorrow. 

• Work on the following recommended IXL topics: "convert between customary and metric systems" and "convert metric units involving decimals". If you get to a smart score of 80 before class tomorrow, I'll give you 5 pride points for each one.

• Early finishers can go to the early finisher button below and complete the activity there (no calculator!) or go to the Blooket button and practice for our test next week using the activity posted.
