Unit 8

In this unit, we will learn about the third of our four river valley civilizations:  the Indus Valley Civilization.  Though not as well known as the civilizations of Mesopotamia and Egypt, the Indus Valley people made many contributions to history.  Also in Unit 8, we will examine the eastern religions of Hinduism and Buddhism, and learn how they originated, and what caused them to spread throughout the eastern hemisphere.
