Mr. Lee is the director of bands for the EA High School band program. He accepted the position in the summer of 2018 and was the previous director of bands at St. James High School in St. James, LA.
Mr. Lee graduated high school from Delhi High School in Delhi, LA in 1999. He attended Louisiana Tech majoring in chemical engineering from 1999 - 2002. Mr. Lee, along with a few people he met in the LA Tech Band of Pride, formed a band of their own and played original music in venues in New York City, including Madison Square Garden, and all over Louisiana. After relocating to Baton Rouge, the band met its end after hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and Mr. Lee went back to LA Tech to major in Music Education
Mr. Lee then attended LA Tech from 2006 - 2010 earning a bachelor's degree in Music Education, with his primary instrument of saxophone.
After graduating in 2010, Mr. Lee accepted the position at St. James High School where he was charged with resurrecting an almost defunct band program. During his seven years there, he not only worked to earn a Masters Degree in Music Education from Tarleton State University, but revitalized a 6th grade through 12th grade band program.
Mr. Lee is excited to continue with the traditions of the EA Spartan band. Mr. Lee resides in Gonzales, LA with his wife Ashley, dog Babette, and cat Clementine.
