This site provides you with tools and resources to help you plan and implement a school volunteer program designed to direct volunteers to intentionally support and further your school and district goals.
Robust Volunteer Programs
Research has shown that volunteer programs that are aligned to school and district goals, make a greater impact on increasing student outcomes and elevating family connections to their student's learning and their teachers. They also better support critical volunteer roles like getting community resources to students and getting much-needed help to teachers.
For an overview on how to build a Goal Linked School Volunteer Program, please visit the Getting Started page.
Be sure to identify and register yourself or someone else as your school's Volunteer Coordinator by emailing family.engagement@aps.edu to receive communications about additional tools and trainings.
Volunteer Coordinators can reach out anytime for support and/or a one-on-one school-based coaching session.
