Based on the work of Stephan Karpman and David Emerald Womeldorff, this presentation will explore the Drama Triangle, what it is, the roles we play, as well as strategies to shift to the Empowerment Triangle. By changing perspectives of the roles of Victim, Rescuer, and Persecutor to those of Creator, Coach, and Challenger, participants will leave with specific resources for managing conflict in the workplace, classroom, and personal lives. This shift creates the opportunity for a change in mindset, increases the ability to work towards the desired outcomes, and generate greater awareness in managing and reducing conflict.

In this fun, interactive session, participants will describe the difference between herbs and spices, use their senses to compare fresh and dried herbs, and prepare their own seasoning mix in a fun culinary challenge. What a great way to introduce an exploration of the culinary and medicinal uses of herbs and spices in world cultures or to explore the role of herbs and spices in world trade through the ages.
