Check in, explore conference tables, watch student performances, grab some coffee, and find a seat in the big room

8:30-9:50 Conference Launch: Appreciative Inquiry

Gather in the big room to celebrate our strengths and dream big for the future! Participants will begin the Appreciative Inquiry process that will guide the conference for the next two days.

10:00-11:30 Breakout Block 1

11:30-12:40 Lunch

Join ASCD author Jill Harrison Berg for an interactive discussion in the big room. Lunch is provided for this event.

12:50-1:50 Breakout Block 2

2:00-2:50 Appreciative Inquiry, Part 2: Imagine

Select a focus area and join fellow educators to design a creative representation that shows what school will be like when your focus becomes a reality.

3:00-4:00 Breakout Block 3

Groups will share their creative representations from Part 2: Imagine on Day 1.

2:00-4:00 Appreciative Inquiry, Part 4: Innovate

Using an "unconference" model to tap into collective wisdom, participants will ask questions, share expertise, and plan action steps to create vibrant schools, classrooms, and communities across APS.
