Parent/Guardian and students,

Welcome! My name is Coach Flores. I will be your student's physical education teacher this year and I am excited to have your kid in my class!

Physical education is a required class for graduation in the state of New Mexico. Here at VVHS, we believe being physically active is for everyone and is essential for a better quality of life. While in my class, your student will participate in a variety of activities, discussions, and assignments that focus on improving physical fitness levels, motor skills, knowledge, and comprehension on how to live a healthy and active lifestyle. I will also work with students on developing teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect.

I strive to provide physical opportunities to engage all my students. I recognize not all students will enjoy every activity, however, I ask that they have an open-mind and give me their best effort. To have success in my class, your student will need to show up to all scheduled class periods, participate, complete activities/assignments and give me their best effort. I want your student to challenge themselves physically, but their safety is my priority. You will be able to monitor your students progress in my class by clicking on ParentVue.
