The SASM Jog-A-Thon is our only PTA fundraiser of the year. Participants earn money for the school by running laps and getting donations. Participants will have 30 minutes to run as many laps as they can around our track at San Antonito. Participants get pledges from family, friends, neighbors, or businesses to support their efforts. Donors can either pledge a certain amount of money per lap or make a flat donation in support of our school.

Ask friends, family, neighbors, and businesses! Register your child at http://sanantonito.pledgestar.com/ It takes just minutes to set up your child’s own fundraising page to request pledges! When participants request pledges from at least 5 people online, they will be eligible for a prize, even if they don’t get any monetary donations. 

**Notes: When collecting pledges based on laps run. Kindergartners may run approximately 50 laps around the center of the field. The 1st through 3rd graders run on average 15 laps and the 4th and 5th graders run on average 20 laps around the track. We prefer donations through Pledgestar. If a check does need to be mailed, please mail to: San Antonito PTA, PO Box 14, Sandia Park, NM 87047. Please make sure your child’s teacher name is on the envelope or check. Thank you! 

Prizes are cumulative.  All prizes will be awarded within about 2 weeks after the Jog-a-Thon event. 

Prizes: 

● Sending out 5 emails earns a SASM Roadrunner sticker 

● $25 raised earns an Multi-color Creature Pen 

●$50 raised earns a Fidget

●$100 raised earns a SASM Swag Bag

●$200 raised earns an Ordinarily Beautiful mini Cotton Candy at Fall Bash 

● $400 raised earns a STEM Kit (exact kit will vary by grade level) 

● $600 and up earns a Robot Coding Kit 

(Various gift card donations we receive will also be split up among top winners) 

Individual Grand Prizes: 

● The Top Lap Runners (Top Boy Lap Runner and Top Girl Lap Runner) from each class will receive an extra recess and bubble party with Mrs. Gallegos and a medal. 

● The student who is the top fundraiser at San Antonito will get to be Principal for a Day! and receives a G.O.A.T. trophy!

Class Prizes: 

● The class with the best School Spirit (as judged by Mrs. Gallegos & PTA Jog-a thon Committee) will win a class pizza party and receive a trophy! 

• NEW THIS YEAR:  The class who raises the most money will receive a trophy, as will the class with the highest participation on Pledgestar and the class who runs the most total laps (excluding kinder, because their laps are shorter).

This year we are hoping to raise $28,000. If every student can raise $70 we can achieve our goal! Your support allows the PTA to continue to fund many of the great programs and events at our school including classroom supplies, field trips, Fall Bash, and funding for DigiLab, Library, Art, Music, and more!   This year any funds collected above $28,000, the amount needed to operate the PTA’s regular programs to support the school, will go toward other PTA initiatives. With your help, every child will benefit.
