Mrs. Sonderer is an energetic teacher driven to continue learning and growing professionally and to understand and implement new teaching strategies. In her teaching practice, she continues to grow and learn to support different learning styles and students' cultural and diverse needs.
Mrs. Sonderer has taught for 35 years, with many years of gifted experience along with regular classroom teaching. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Marketing from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and elementary education from the University of Texas in Arlington. She earned her master’s degree from Western New Mexico University in Trauma Informed Practices for Early Education.
Mrs. Sonderer is a Level III Master Teacher with a dual licensure in Level 3-A Instructional Leader Early Childhood-3 Elementary and Level 3-A Instructional Leader K-8 Elementary, along with endorsements in Gifted Education, TESOL, and Reading.
Mrs. Sonderer loves hiking with her family and dogs, outside of school, and is excited to start training for a half marathon.
