Biology is the study of life--both our own and that of the other species with which we interact. The work of biologists impacts your world every day; this is especially true during the current pandemic. Knowledge of biology is the foundation for medicine/health care, environmental conservation, and agriculture and food science, and many other careers. I look forward to our year exploring the many facets of this exciting and rapidly growing field.
