Attendance

Attendance is a very important component in distance learning. I will take attendance each day and also note the level of engagement of each student. Students engagement is as follows.

Virtual students can log in at an alternate time, but when work is not attempted or completed, this will need to be noted as an absence. At 5 absences, the district will send a letter making the parents aware of our Absentee Policy. At ten absences, we will schedule a Parent Conference with the family and have them sign a truancy contract.
