Homework: 

Please read with your child for at least 10-15 minutes a night. The amount of reading a child is exposed to is one if the biggest predictors of success in their lives. I will send home any unfinished work on Fridays. This won't happen often. I believe that children need to have fun and rest while they are at home. 

Attendance Policy:

Much of our learning will take place together in the classroom. We do many hands-on activities and group work to help understand and reinforce lessons. Please plan to attend school every day except in cases of illness or emergency. Learning begins when the first bell rings so please be sure your child is in class line (on the playground) at 9:15am. If your child is ill, has a doctor’s appointment, or is out because of a family emergency, please either call the front office or you can report an absent through Parentvue.
