Welcome Hawk Families,

2020-2021 will be an interesting yet exciting school year. Understandably everyone is a little apprehensive of what the school year will be like. We will start the year with a virtual classroom. This will be new and different for all. I have confidence that all of our Hawks will rise to the occasion and surpass our expectations. I am looking forward to working with parents as a learning team to help our Hawks stay emotionally healthy and academically strong. With all the challenges presented this year I am excited to be working with this 5th grade group of Hawks. This will be a great year, different but none the less terrific.

P.S. My legal name is Johnnie which is why all the APS documents say Johnnie. However I go by Christy. Most of the students call me Mrs. Christy or Mrs. Dunlap. I answer to both.

8 inch ball (any kind, can be slightly bigger or smaller)

Tennis ball

2 soup cans

Mat/towel (or if you have carpet, not necessary)

Jump rope

Beach ball or balloon

Bucket or target to toss into

Tossing toys: bean bags, socks, small ball, paper ball.... anything

10 or more red solo or stacking cups

Paddle (ping pong sized, or slightly larger or smaller) with ball
