Micah Lawson - La Cueva Head Swim and Dive Coach

Coach Micah Lawson has been involved in swimming since 2010.  Since then, he has competed from the summer league level to collegiate nationals.  Coach Micah swam for Mako Aquatics Club for 4 years and then swam for Williams Baptist University for all 4 years, making the national team at the University.

During his Junior year of college, he started his coaching career at Highpoint Sports and Wellness, where he led the summer team to 5 consecutive undefeated seasons in a row.  During the semester, he was the assistant coach at PAC Dolphins in Pocahontas, AR.  After graduating from Williams Baptist University, he began coaching at Mako Aquatics Club, quickly rising to head site coach at the University of New Mexico.  During his time at Mako Aquatics Club, he coached numerous swimmers to qualify for state, high school state, zones, sectionals, and regionals.
