Assessments

Some are just for me!  Student work and samples will be used daily to help me guide my teaching and make instructional decisions.  These will be checked but not used for formal grading purposes. These work samples reflect skills and strategies we are working on in class. These papers are checked for completion and will come home with a star or smiley face.

Some are for grades!  The grading system (1, 2, 3, 4) used will align with the four point performance levels that are reported on the Standards Based Report Card.

• 1= Student is experiencing difficulty meeting grade level expectations.

• 2= The student is nearing the expectations. 

• 3= The student meets expectations. 

• 4=The student exceeds expectations.
