ABOUT ME

My name is Chris Howe but most of my students call me Coach Howe.  I have 26 years of Coaching and Teaching experience in APS, SFPS and RRPS.  I have taught PE, Health, Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy/Physiology and Physics in the high school setting.  I have worked in both the General Education and Special Education settings, as well as, working as a Special Education Instructional Leader for 5 years.  I have also been involved in eLearning and Edgenuity in some capacity since 2014

Currently, I am excited to start my first year at Cibola as a Weight Training Teacher and Head Football!

I have always put student success first and pride myself in working to help students be successful in the classroom and on the field.

Mission Statement

Cibola High School is one of thirteen comprehensive high schools and 8 Schools of Choice in the Albuquerque Public School district with approximately 1,900 students in grades nine through twelve. We offer a comprehensive curriculum enriched by special offerings. Enthusiasm, positive attitude, classroom skills, professional activities, and academic preparation characterize staff members. The school's curriculum meets both college and career preparatory needs.
