**TEACHERS MUST BE SELECTED OR ELECTED BY THEIR DEPARTMENTS BEFORE THEY CAN JOIN**
Each department within CIbola is granted 1 voting member of the Instructional Council. Additionally, Unions and the School Administrative team are each granted 1 voting member.
Departments elect new IC Reps. when the term (2 years) of their current rep expires, or when a vacancy occurs. If there is only 1 candidate, no election is required and the 1 candidate becomes the new Representative. IC Representatives are not for their work.
If you are a current member of the Cibola Faculty interested in becoming a Voting Member of the IC please mention it to your Department Chair, Current IC Rep or IC Chair Evan Aguilar!

The current APS Union contract allows for parent representatives on Instructional Councils.
**Notice Any Parent Interested in serving on the IC must Be the legal guardian of a Student Currently enrolled at Cibola High School**
