Trade School/Certification Programs - A certificate program is an alternative to a degree program. Certificate programs are short-term training programs that often take less time to complete than a degree. CNM, Pima, Carrington are just a few examples of places to get a certification. Become an Apprentice/Fellow - Apprenticeships combine hands-on work with classroom learning to train the apprentice. Apprenticeships are considered full-time employment. As the apprentice is learning, they are also applying the lessons through working. CLICK HERE for more information.

Get an Associate Degree - Associate degrees are two-year degrees, so for someone who wants to get in, get out, and get to work, they are excellent options. Associate degrees are often taught at community colleges, therefore, the per-semester price can be a fraction of the cost compared to major universities and private colleges. Take an interest inventory. - answer questions in an online assessment to see what careers line up with your interests. CLICK HERE to get started.
Explore your values - Knowing what you're interested in may not be enough to decide on a career. Interests and values need to align. You may be interested in being a doctor, however you value being debt free and don't want to take on student loans for college.
