ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTIONS and POLICIES:

Assignments: Assignments include work done during asynchronous and synchronous times during the week. Assignments are labeled in Synergy. All assignments will be in Google Classroom. Not all assignments will be entered into the Synergy student information system.

Projects: Projects vary from mini vocabulary, grammar and writing projects to art and cultural projects.

Tests and Quizzes: Students will take quizzes and tests to measure progress in class. Most tests will be taken using Google Forms using Google Classroom.

SPEAKING: Speaking grades will be earned through speaking assignments.

Late or Missing Work: The majority of the time I give students a week to complete any type of assignment. However, if they miss an assignment, they have 5 late work “tickets” per semester. To turn in late work, students will need to complete their missing work and complete a Late Work Ticket Form. I grade work turned in on time before grading late work. All late work submitted by the end of a 6 week term will go in for that 6 week term grade.
