Activities

The above activity was used in my edTPA unit, and asks students to read and analyze six primary sources to then determine how various individuals from history were impacted by Industrialism. 

This activity was also from my edTPA unit, and asks students to research an actual person who came through Ellis Island. Students had to write suspected answers to the above questions from the point of view of the historical character. Then students would have to come up with their own two questions, followed by their suspected answers. Students then shared out to the class their findings. 

This activity was from my unit on Imperialism, and asks students to create a graphic novel detailing the events of the Spanish American War. This allows students to see the events in a more student friendly way, making history more interesting and easier to understand.
