Here is a Curriculum Guide, Unit Map, and three lesson plans for an American History course I designed. My American history Curriculum focuses on getting students to think about the historical skills they will learn from examining different historical events, movements, and advancements. Additionally, I prioritize teaching multiple viewpoints in history and providing stories to students from people who have historically been left out of the American narrative and have not been given a voice.

Founding Principles of the United States of America and North Carolina
Here is a Curriculum Guide, Unit Map, and three lesson plans for a Civic Literacy class I designed. In my curriculum, I focus on teaching students about the US Government and the working parts of our country with the question in their mind, "How can we improve our country's government?" I push students to incorporate the many different skills they learn in through this course into their other disciplinary studies and even outside of school.
