Other field camps

There are a lot of other field camps that will satisfy the capstone requirement.

The following field camps have been pre-approved:

DOMESTIC

INTERNATIONAL

Iowa State University - Iowa *must take 6 credit option

Missouri State - Southwest USA

Southern Illinois University - Montana and around

University of Alaska Fairbanks - Alaska

University of Louisiana at Lafayette - Lots of places!

Santa Barbara City College - **must take both 137 & 138 courses** for 6 credits

George Mason University - Italy (the Dolomites)

If you choose a field camp from this list, you still need to communicate with Dr. Lutz (lutzbm2@appstate.edu) about the course you plan to take before you enroll. You also need to send an email to transfer@appstate.edu indicating the institution/course you would like to approve.

If your camp has not already been pre-approved, you need to contact Dr. Lutz (lutzbm2@appstate.edu) with the following information:

AFTER APPROVAL by Dr. Lutz, you must complete a Visiting Request form OR send an email indicating the institution, course, credit hours and term where you plan to complete the field experience to Transfer Services at transfer@appstate.edu.

After initial course approval, you can mix and match these with each other or an approved alternative.
