I have engaged in many professional development opportunities through Quality Matters.
In May 2021, I took a course focused on learning the Quality Matters standards, Improving Your Online Course, which served as a prerequisite for having one of my online courses evaluated for Quality Matters certification. In April 2022, my RE 3240 course design was evaluated and certified by Quality Matters using the eight standards for highly effective online teaching.
Further, I completed the Teaching Online Certification through Quality Matters, which includes seven separate courses focused on course design, policies, teaching/learning alignment, and digital tools.
