Monday (3/20): Workshop, 2:00-5:00pm: Freshwater Sponges with Dr. Cara Fiore, AppState Biology Department, Rankin Science Complex


Tuesday (3/21): Contributed posters and platform presentations, 10am-6pm, ASU Broadstone Facility


Wednesday (3/22): Contributed posters and platform presentations, 10am-12:30pm, ASU Broadstone Facility

This year’s meeting will be held in person.  Presentations will be limited to 25 minute time slots [presentation (20 minutes), questions (3 minutes), setup and takedown (2 minutes)]. If you'd rather bring a poster, we will have an area to hang them for the full meeting and several times to present during the sessions.

 

We welcome abstracts from a variety of aquatic sub-disciplines including: aquatic entomology, stream ecology, aquatic ecology, phycology, aquatic systematics, limnology, fisheries sciences, aquatic ecosystem management, freshwater conservation and restoration, aquatic recreation and many, many others!

In an attempt to solicit and encourage student presentations for the upcoming meeting, we will host a student presentation competition with 1st and 2nd place cash awards of $100 and $50, respectively.

 Camp Broadstone https://urec.appstate.edu/broadstone, [map] (near Boone, North Carolina). These are bunkhouse style accomodations, with separate buildings for men and women, multiple shared showers and toilets ($12/person/night).
