-Thursday, March 12, Faculty vs 8th grade BB game, Concert Band performs pep band music, gets in free. Students arrive 5:45
-Friday, March 13- Ambassadors and combo to Clackamas Community College competition- possible evening playoffs. Bus during the day, carpool for playoffs.

-Friday, April 24th- Ambassadors competition at Mt Hood Comm College- daytime only. We need to carpool to this one, PPS has no buses available for that day!

Friday, May 1 and Sat., May 2, Symphonic Band will host a Seattle band at Clackamas Community College, including a combined performance Friday, and Oaks Park on Saturday. (Saturday Oaks Park with visiting band trip is optional, Friday is a daytime event, required.)

-Friday, January 10, 6:30 pm: Jazz Celebration at Grant High School, featuring Portland jazz vocalist Marilyn Keller performing with Beaumont jazz groups and the Symphonic Band. Tickets $`12.00 through students or Schoolpay, or $15.00 at the door. Students arrive at 5:30, doors open at 6:00, Jazz Academy on at 6:30.

-Tuesday, Feb 25th- Mardi Gras Night Parade on Mississippi Ave- evening event, details coming soon. We will meet at the parade site, not at Beaumont. Parents needed to march with band!
-Friday, Feb 28: Warner-Pacific competition: Symphonic Band AND Ambassadors, daytime event, school buses both ways. One van and 3 chaperones needed, please.

-Tuesday, Dec 17th- Jazz Academy travels to the Federal Building downtown to play a lunchtime concert. Bus both ways, two mini-vans needed to move instruments.

Students who are missing without written notice 2 weeks before the parade will lose one letter from their quarterly grade. - Thursday, February 7, 6:00 pm: Cadet Band performs at Fifth Grade Open House- arrive in band room @ 5:30
- Saturday, February 9th: West Salem Jazz Festival, BOTH JAZZ BANDS AND COMBOS - 1776 Titan Drive NW Salem, OR 97304 , Bus leaves Beaumont at 8:00. LBB on stage at 10:00, Ambassadors play at 12:30, Combo J at 3:00, Combo T at 4:00. All bands have a 30 minute warm-up before.
- Friday, Feb 15: Symphonic Band meet at Oregon Convention Center at 8:15 for 9:30 AM performance. School bus will return students to Beaumont.
- Wednesday, Feb 20- Cadet Band Concert- 6th grade and Little Big Band. Students arrive at 6:00 (Little Big Band is first, then 7th and 8th graders can leave.)
- Thursday, February 21, 6:30 pm: Winter Concert - Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Rose City Trombones, Ambassadors, Combos.-- Students arrive at 6:00 -except combos, arrive 5:45, play at 6:05.

** Hot Dog Roast is the same day, but a different order form- One all-beef hot dog, chips, cole slaw, and cookie, $3.00, two hot-dog plate, $5.00. Veggie dogs available. Arrive 8:45 AM, parade starts at 9:30, but it takes a long time to get the band formed up with no holes. Please be on time. We should be done at 10:15 or a little sooner.
- Seventh and eighth grade bands combine each year to form a marching band for the Hollywood Veterans Day Parade. This year's parade is Monday, November 12. I realize that there is no school that day, and we will march on Monday to honor veterans and their families.

- We will play from 5:30 to 5:50 to allow a little extra time for 8th grade parents who want to get to the Grant Open house. We will need 7th grade parents to help get equipment back to Beaumont, please! Students will come to the band room at 3:30 to gather equipment and change, and have a quick pizza snack. Then we need to carpool to the BESC at 501 N. Dixon.

Friday-Saturday, May 5-6: Ambassadors trip for Bellevue HS Jazz Festival
-Rehearse Friday morning at 7:30, bring everything needed for trip. We will have a solid rehearsal, and then leave for Bellevue at approx 9:00. Arrive to Red Lion at noon, have Subway sandwich lunch, unload and check in to rooms (if rooms are ready) Quickly get dressed to go to the High School to see one or two bands and then perform at 3:50. Performance is followed by clinic, one more middle school band, a tense/exciting waiting period and then announcements about playoffs. We will have pizza dinner at the HS and go to playoffs, either to perform or to watch the bands that made it. More details about the trip will be on a separate itinerary sheet.
