STEM
In this hands-on course, students integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through a variety of interactive projects and design challenges. Areas of study include robotics, engineering concepts, circuits, magnetism, and renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power. This course may only be taken one time.
Please note that this is an 8th-grade level course, taught with the corresponding level of rigor. Enrollment is limited, and we may not be able to place all interested students. Final roster selections will be based on application data and MAP scores.
*** If you are interested in Advanced STEM, you will need to contact Mr. Rice, our current STEM teacher. You MUST be in STEM this school year to qualify.
Students need to be logged in to their Wylie ISD account to access the application, and it is only for 8th graders who did not register for STEM last year.
